The India Meteorological Department issued a weather alert for strong winds, dust storms, and intense rainfall in Chamoli district, prompting a public advisory from District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari. Despite the weather changes, no incidents were reported, as preparations for the upcoming Chardham Yatra 2025 were discussed in a meeting led by Dr R Rajesh Kumar to ensure infrastructure readiness for the pilgrimage.
