In the aftermath of two encounters in Chhattisgarh resulting in the deaths of 30 Maoists, police have identified 19 of the slain Maoists, including 15 women, with a total reward of ₹1.03 crore. In Bijapur, 14 of the 26 cadres killed were women, with efforts ongoing to establish the identities of others. Notable figures among the deceased include PLGA commander Lokesh and West Bastar Divisional Committee members Sitto and Jithru.
