Paras Defence & Space Technologies bags Rs 142-cr order to develop anti-drone laser system

Paras Defence & Space Technologies Ltd has secured a Rs 142.31 crore contract from DRDO’s CHESS to develop a high-powered anti-drone laser system, with a 24-month execution timeline. Managing Director Munjal Sharad Shah highlighted the significance of this project for India’s defence capabilities, emphasizing the advanced laser technology’s effectiveness against aerial threats like drones and missiles. The project involves developing a laser source module and integrating it with a beam control system on a mobile platform for anti-drone and anti-missile applications.
