In a meeting with US national intelligence director Tulsi Gabbard, defence minister Rajnath Singh raised concerns about Sikh extremist groups like Sikhs For Justice operating internationally and having ties to proscribed organizations like Babbar Khalsa and Pakistan’s ISI, urging their designation as terror organizations. The discussions reaffirmed the strong India-US defence partnership, focusing on collaboration in defence innovation, technology sharing, interoperability, and integration of supply chains. India positioned itself as a reliable partner for the US defence industry, working with companies like Boeing and Lockheed Martin to bolster resilience and innovation.
