Usha-Urja, developed by the Indian Air Force, harnesses wind energy in high-altitude, extreme cold conditions, with a prototype showcased at Aero India 2025 at an estimated cost of Rs 4.14 lakh. Civilian applications of the system include a drone interception system and a real-time aircraft tracker, both demonstrated at the event, showcasing its versatility and potential beyond military use.
