Maoist-hit districts down to 38 from 126 in 6 years: MHA

Over 4,000 km of roads and 1,300 telecom towers have been built in Left Wing Extremist (LWE) affected areas under the ‘National Policy and Action Plan 2015’, resulting in a significant decrease in the number of LWE-affected districts. The implementation of this plan has led to a marked reduction in violence and casualties in these areas.
