The Union Budget 2025-26 has allocated Rs 3,481.27 crore for security-related expenditure and the Special Infrastructure Scheme for Left Wing Extremist areas, with the aim to eliminate Naxalism by March 2026. Efforts this year have resulted in the deaths of 40 Naxalites in Chhattisgarh and 48 across all affected states, showcasing progress towards this goal.
