Mizoram Police seized a large cache of arms and ammunition in Saithah village, Mamit District, intended for trade between the Chin National Front (CNF) from Myanmar and the United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF-P) in CHT. The operation led to the arrest of five individuals, including a CNF leader, and the seizure of six AK-47 rifles, 10,050 cartridges, and 13 magazines, highlighting the transnational illegal arms dealing and threats to regional stability.
