The strength of girl cadets in the NCC has reached 40%, with plans for a phase-wise expansion in the coming years, as announced by senior officials. The ongoing NCC Republic Day Camp in Delhi includes 2,361 cadets, with 917 girls participating, the largest number to date. Additionally, 135 cadets from 18 friendly countries will join the camp under a Youth Exchange Programme, featuring new competitions and initiatives for innovation.
