‘T for terrorism’: MEA hits back at Pakistan’s ‘two to tango’ comment on India relations

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the need for mutual effort in normalizing relations with India, stating “It takes two to tango.” However, India’s MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal asserted that the core issue between the two countries is terrorism, not metaphors. Dar also discussed efforts to strengthen ties with regional neighbors like Bangladesh and Afghanistan, planning a visit to Bangladesh in February 2025 to enhance economic cooperation and rebuild strained relationships.
