The French carrier strike group (CSG), led by the aircraft carrier FNS Charles de Gaulle, will be making port calls at Goa and Kochi as part of Mission CLEMENCEAU 25, conducting joint training with regional allies like India in the Indian Ocean before participating in multinational exercises. The CSG will also take part in the Varuna bilateral exercise with the Indian navy to enhance interoperability and readiness for dealing with multi-milieu threats. The aim of the mission is to strengthen cooperation between the French and Indian navies in preparation for future challenges.
