Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) reported detecting five Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft and six People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels operating near Taiwan, with three aircraft crossing the median line into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). In a separate incident, MND also detected 23 PLA aircraft and six PLAN vessels near Taiwan, with 16 aircraft crossing the median line into Taiwanese airspace. The MND monitored the situations and responded accordingly to the Chinese military presence.
