In a speech at the Army War College in Mhow Cantonment, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced that India’s defence exports have surged to a record Rs 21,000 crore from Rs 2,000 crore a decade ago, with a target set to reach Rs 50,000 crore by 2029. Singh emphasized the importance of mastering frontier technologies to address evolving challenges, citing unconventional methods such as information warfare, AI-based warfare, and cyber-attacks as significant threats in modern warfare.
