Major Gaza hospital shut after Israeli raid, director held: Officials

An Israeli military raid targeting Hamas militants has forced Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza out of service and led to the detention of its director, according to the WHO and health officials. The assault has exacerbated Gaza’s health crisis, with key departments of the hospital severely damaged and 60 health workers and 25 critical patients still inside. Patients in moderate to severe condition have been relocated to a non-functioning hospital, raising concerns for their safety.
