Israel hits Baalbek region, violating ceasefire: Lebanon

Lebanon’s state media reported that an Israeli air strike targeted the Baalbek region, branding it a violation of the ceasefire with Hezbollah. The strike near Tarya did not result in casualties, marking the first breach of the ceasefire agreement in the area. Hezbollah, a prominent force in south Beirut and the east of Lebanon, was weakened but not defeated in the war with Israel.
