A thwarted May attack in Stockholm saw a 15-year-old attempting to target the Israeli embassy, while two additional attacks were directed at Israeli defence firm Elbit Systems in Gothenburg involving a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old. Authorities believe social media apps like Telegram, Snapchat, and TikTok are used for recruitment, highlighting vulnerabilities in Nordic societies due to minimal policing and high societal trust.
