Over ₹21,000 cr deal for Sukhois & Vajras

The government has approved two major defense acquisition deals worth over ₹21,000 crore, including the purchase of 100 additional K9 Vajra self-propelled artillery guns for the Army, manufactured by Larsen and Toubro. These guns, highly indigenized and customized, have already proven successful in Ladakh. Additionally, the Cabinet Committee on Security has greenlit the acquisition of 12 Su 30MKI fighter jets, with a contract already signed.
