BEML Limited secured a Rs 83.51 crore contract from the defence ministry to supply a 50-tonne Trailer, showcasing their capability in providing advanced indigenous products for India’s defence infrastructure. The heavy-duty Trailer is designed for transporting battle tanks, featuring 12 twin wheels for stability, a steerable turntable, air brake system, and emergency brakes. BEML’s Chairman, Shantanu Roy, expressed pride in their capacity to deliver such products and emphasized their commitment to supporting the defence sector.
