Russian air strikes kill 19 civilians in north Syria

Russian air strikes in the Aleppo countryside resulted in the deaths of 19 civilians on Thursday, according to Rami Abdel Rahman, the head of the war monitor Observatory. The strikes occurred following clashes between jihadists and the Syrian army, which intensified after rebels launched a major offensive in the country’s northwest. Additionally, one civilian was reported killed in Syrian army shelling the day before.
