India and Saudi Arabia discussed enhancing defence industry partnership and addressing extremism, terror financing, and drug trafficking during the 2nd Meeting of the Committee on Political, Security, Social and Cultural Cooperation. The two countries also explored the West Asian situation amidst efforts to improve ties between Saudi Arabia and Iran, with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar highlighting the progress in defence cooperation and exports.
