The 21st edition of the India-US Military Cooperation Group (MCG) meeting began in New Delhi, co-chaired by officials from both countries to discuss new initiatives and strengthen bilateral defense cooperation. The focus was on enhancing ongoing defense engagements and interoperability to address mutual security concerns in the Indo-Pacific region, with the goal of maintaining peace and stability. The MCG is a forum established for regular strategic and operational level talks between Headquarters, Integrated Defence Staff, and the US Indo-Pacific Command.
