India and China have resumed patrolling in Demchok and Depsang after disengagement of troops, with terms of engagement on carrying arms similar to previous peace pacts. Patrolling units will carry arms, but personnel meeting counterparts during patrol will remain unarmed. Both sides have removed temporary structures, completed border disengagement verification, and will use technical surveillance means to monitor the disputed area.
