During their meeting in Vadodara, PM Narendra Modi and Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez emphasized the success of the C295 aircraft project and urged their defence industries to collaborate on similar joint projects in India. They also agreed to establish a ‘Fast Track Mechanism’ to facilitate mutual investments and signed seven documents, including an MoU on rail transport cooperation and an agreement on customs matters. The leaders discussed enhancing connectivity through the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor Project and recognized the positive contributions of Indian companies to the Spanish economy in various sectors.
