Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez will inaugurate a new military aircraft production facility in Vadodara, India, which will build C295 transport aircraft. The facility, a first in the private sector, will produce a total of 52 aircraft for the Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard, with additional orders underway to boost the Indian defence ecosystem. The consortium leading the manufacturing includes Tata Advanced Systems and Airbus Defence and Space SA Spain, with production set to start this year and deliveries planned by 2026.
