The Indian Navy and the Royal Navy of Oman recently concluded their bilateral naval exercise, ‘Naseem Al Bahr’ off the coast of Goa, which lasted from October 13 to October 18. The exercise consisted of two phases, including harbour activities with professional interactions and sports fixtures, followed by sea activities involving gun firings, anti-aircraft firings, manoeuvres, and Replenishment at Sea Approaches. The exercise aimed to enhance interoperability and mutual understanding between the two navies, with the Indian Navy’s Dornier aircraft providing Over-the-Horizon Targeting data and Sea Riders embarked on RNOV Al Seeb.
