Why is North Korea blowing up roads, railways to the South?

North Korea has recently taken aggressive actions against South Korea, including dynamiting inter-Korea roads and railways, threatening war over drone incursions, and moving nuclear-capable weapons to the border. This shift in behavior is a departure from North Korea’s previous commitment to reunification with the South. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has declared South Korea as his “principal enemy” and cut off communication with them. This change in attitude has erased mentions of “reconciliation” or “fellow countrymen” from official records.
