100ml liquid limit set to be scrapped for flyers across Europe

European holidaymakers may soon be able to carry up to two litres of liquids, including perfumes and wine, in their hand luggage at major airports equipped with advanced CT scanners, pending approval from the European Civil Aviation Conference. This change follows the lifting of the 100ml limit at Birmingham and Edinburgh airports, which already utilize this technology, while other UK airports continue to enforce the older restrictions.
